Warrillee bull sells for $9000 at the AG Show Toowoomba.

Warrillee D3 Champion bull and equal highest priced Santa Gertrudis bull at the AG Show.

At the AG Show bull sale at Toowoomba Showgrounds last Thursday 25 month old Warrillee D3 was judged Champion Santa Gertrudis bull during the pre sale judging by leading cattle judge David Greenup of Rosevale Santa Gertrudis Stud Jandowae.

Warrillee D3 owned by Howard , Flo and Jeff Beutel of Warrillee Santa Gertrudis Stud at Bunburra near Boonah later sold for the equal highest price in the Santa Gertrudis catalogue of the sale for $9000 to Dangarfield Cattle Co at Taroom to be used as a stud sire.

At 25 months of age Warrillee D3 weighed 902 kg with a daily weight gain of 1.12 kg .Eye muscle area of 122 sq cm. Rump and rib fat  cover of  14 and 9 mm.

Scrotal circumference of 41 cm and semen quality of 85% .

The sale average price was $4232

Warrillee sold 6 bulls to average $4708.
